Dr. Elijah Ragasa is passionate about helping people regain their strength, confidence, and quality of life through personalized physical therapy. A former football player with a background in taekwondo, he understands firsthand the importance of proper movement, injury recovery, and returning safely to the activities patients enjoy most.
His passion for physical therapy developed while studying kinesiology with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy. Through clinical experiences and observing the meaningful impact physical therapists have on their patients, he discovered a profession that perfectly combined his love of movement science with his desire to serve others. Watching his father successfully recover from shoulder injuries through physical therapy further reinforced his decision to pursue the profession.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, Dr. Ragasa completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at West Coast University Center for Graduate Studies. He has a special interest in orthopedic rehabilitation, weightlifting mechanics, and helping active individuals return to exercise safely and confidently.
Dr. Ragasa believes every treatment plan should be tailored to the individual. His evidence-based approach combines manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic activities, and patient education to restore function, reduce pain, and help each patient achieve their personal goals.
Outside the clinic, Elijah enjoys spending time with his family and friends, staying active in the gym, and taking advantage of Southern California’s beaches whenever the weather is right.
